A very common occurrence around this time of year is Secret Santa! This post will deal with what to get your secret Santa especially if you don't know them that well.

1. Mug Gifts: In almost every store you can find mug gifts. Mug gifts are mugs with a packet of hot chocolate mix or a packet of cake mix. These are great gift ideas because firstly who doesn't love a hot drink in winter and who doesn't love food. You can also get a recipe book for mug cakes to go along with your gift.

2. A Fuzzy Blanket: Winter in Canada is cold! It’s a time to cozy up by the fire with a fuzzy blanket and just relax. This is a great gift idea because there are so many warm festive blankets out during this season that are affordable, and will definitely be used during the cold winter months.

3. Books: Books are a great gift for people who just love to escape from reality! Cozying up with a great book by the fire with a nice cup of tea (or some Starbucks drink), is ideal for the holidays especially when it is too cold to go outside. Books are amazing because you can cater the type of books to get them by judging their personality, or even their likes on Facebook.

4. A Selfie Stick: In the 21^st century, we are all about the “selfie”, so much so that there was a whole song about it. So, why not help someone commemorate holiday memories with a sefie stick?

5. Body care gift sets: In the winter it is essential to take care of your skin, male or female. The harsh winter winds and cooler temperatures will dry out your skin, hence moisturizing is important, even if you have oily skin. Body care gift sets, are great because they come in a variety of scents and products. For example, body lotion, body butter, shower gel, bath bombs and bubble baths, are some of the items that can be included in a Body care gift set. Pass the gift of healthy skin on to someone else!

6. Video games: As long as you know that your Secret Santa has a system to play on, video games are amazing gifts. They help give people an excuse to not go outside in the cold. You can get your Secret Santa a newly released game or you can get them one of your favorites, which will give you something to bond over!

7. Clothes: In my perspective you can never have enough clothes. Nice winter sweaters, or shirts are an amazing gift to give someone, as long as you know their size and style.

8. Beanies: With winter winds who doesn’t need a beany? This is the perfect gift for an individual who just doesn’t want to spend time getting their hair perfect all the time (which is 99% of us).

9. Chocolates: In all honesty, who does not like chocolate? Getting a nice packet of chocolate will surely sweeten up anyone's day!
